Going back and polishing

Working back through some of the things I’ve arranged and getting them into something approaching a more reasonable shape. I can sense some sort of “falling into place” with my technique although I still of course have the crappy technique one would expect from doing it for less than two years. But I can feel that things are getting better.

It’s strange. Sometimes when you get a good grip on something, things get stinky for a while — standard for learning any new technique. Yes, you’ve absorbed some new knowledge, but you have to integrate it with what you’ve already got in place, which takes time and effort, and the integration process can upset things that had already settled into place.
